The researches being performed in the School of Electrical Engineering comprise a wide range of exciting fields, including nano and semiconductors, communication and networks, computer engineering, integrated circuits, signal processing and multimedia, and electrical energy. The excellence of the current researches in the school is clearly indicated by the recent surge in the various standard evaluation metrics such as impact factor and eigenfactor score of the papers being published in addition to the total paper counts. Also, the students educated in and graduated from the School of Electrical Engineering are carrying out great roles as leaders in IT fields in and out of the country.

The School of Electrical Engineering of Korea University, steered by 49 full-time faculty members, undergraduate students of ~900, and graduate students of ~400, will continue to thrive and provide future visions for electrical engineering, eventually aiming at contributing to the wellness of humankind.
