2014
- March
- The School of Electrical, Electronic, and Microwave Engineering is renamed as the School of Electrical Engineering.
2006
- March
- The School of Electrical Engineering is renamed as the School of Electrical, Electronic, and Microwave Engineering.
2005
- November
- Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Microwave Engineering majors merged into the School of Electrical Engineering.
2002
- September
- The School of Electrical, Electronic, and Microwave Engineering are divided into separate majors, the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Electronic Engineering. The Department of Microwave Engineering is assigned as a major in a separate college, the College of Information and Communications.
1996
- March
- The Departments of Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Microwave Engineering merged into the School of Electrical, Electronic, and Microwave Engineering.
1991
- January
- The Department of Microwave Engineering is established. The Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering is renamed as the Department of Electronic Engineering.
1984
- March
- The Department of Electronic Engineering is renamed as the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
1969
- March
- The Department of Electronic Engineering is established.
1967
- March
- The Department of Electrical Engineering is established.
