March
The School of Electrical, Electronic, and Microwave Engineering is renamed as the School of Electrical Engineering.

2006

March
The School of Electrical Engineering is renamed as the School of Electrical, Electronic, and Microwave Engineering.

2005

November
Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Microwave Engineering majors merged into the School of Electrical Engineering.

2002

September
The School of Electrical, Electronic, and Microwave Engineering are divided into separate majors, the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Electronic Engineering. The Department of Microwave Engineering is assigned as a major in a separate college, the College of Information and Communications.

1996

March
The Departments of Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Microwave Engineering merged into the School of Electrical, Electronic, and Microwave Engineering.

1991

January
The Department of Microwave Engineering is established. The Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering is renamed as the Department of Electronic Engineering.

1984

March
The Department of Electronic Engineering is renamed as the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering.

1969

March
The Department of Electronic Engineering is established.

1967

March
The Department of Electrical Engineering is established.
