The research team led by Professor Seungjun Chung of the Korea University School of Electrical Engineering has been selected for the 2024 Top 100 National R&D Excellence Achievements by the Ministry of Science and ICT for their work on “Development of Omnidirectional 3D Printable Stretchable Electrode Materials and Their Application to Free-Form Displays.”
The Top 100 National R&D Excellence Achievements is an annual recognition program established in 2005 to honor outstanding contributions by scientists and engineers, boosting their pride while promoting key national research and development (R&D) outcomes to the public. For the 2024 selection, a total of 869 research projects recommended by various government agencies underwent rigorous evaluation by 100 industry-academic-research experts, who selected the final 100 outstanding achievements through domain-specific review committees.
Professor Chung’s research was published as a cover article in Nature Electronics, one of the world’s leading journals in the field of electrical and electronic engineering (Impact Factor: 34.3, JCR Top 0.2%). Furthermore, this research was previously recognized as one of Korea’s Top 10 Nanotechnologies of 2023.
