The research team led by Professor Jae Won Shim at the Korea University School of Electrical Engineering announced that Tae Hyuk Kim, a Ph.D. candidate, has been awarded the Minister of Education Award for Outstanding Participation in the 4th Phase BK21 Project (Project Director: Professor Sang Bin Lee).
This prestigious award is granted annually to the top 28 graduate students and early-career researchers who have demonstrated exceptional achievements as part of the educational research group of the National Research Foundation's 4th Phase BK21 Project.
During his participation in the BK21 Project (March 2021 – December 2024), Tae Hyuk Kim dedicated his research to next-generation organic optoelectronic devices. He published a total of 22 papers in SCI-grade journals, including 9 as the first author in top-tier journals, earning recognition for his research capabilities and securing his place as an award recipient.
