Han-Sol Lee, Ph.D., from the Broad Advanced System & Integrated Circuit (BASIC Lab), led by Professor Hyung-Min Lee at the Korea University School of Electrical Engineering, has joined Neuralink, an innovative brain–computer interface (BCI) company based in Silicon Valley, immediately after completing his doctoral degree.
Founded by Elon Musk, Neuralink is a leading neurotechnology company that is pushing the boundaries of medicine and technology by developing high-bandwidth interfaces between the human brain and computers. Han-Sol Lee, Ph.D., will be based at Neuralink’s headquarters in Fremont, California, where he will work as an IC Design Engineer. In this role, he will be responsible for designing low-power, high-efficiency circuit architectures and developing system-level solutions for next-generation implantable brain chips.
Han-Sol Lee, Ph.D., earned his B.S. through Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Korea University. During his integrated M.S.-Ph.D. program, he conducted research on biomedical application systems and integrated circuit design at the BASIC Lab. He has also demonstrated his expertise in biomedical circuit design by publishing his research in top-tier international journals and conferences.
