Minseong Gil, an integrated Master's and Ph.D. student from the Computer Architecture and System Software Lab (Advisor: Prof. Yunho Oh) at Korea University School of Electrical Engineering, will present a first-author paper at the International Symposium on Computer Architecture (ISCA). ISCA is renowned as the premier academic conference in the field of computer architecture, and this year it will be held in Tokyo.

Gil proposed a novel GPU architecture supporting scaled numeric formats, such as Microscaling, designed for efficient artificial intelligence processing. His work received highly positive reviews from the ISCA committee, ultimately becoming the first paper from Korea University accepted at ISCA with a student as the first author.
