Korea University School of Electrical Engineering has achieved its highest-ever placement in the QS World University Rankings by Subject, ranking 57th globally in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
 

In addition, the School ranked 51st–75th in the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) by subject—surpassing Seoul National University and KAIST—to claim the No. 1 position in Korea. ARWU is recognized as one of the three major global university rankings alongside QS and THE.

Unlike other rankings that incorporate subjective survey indicators, ARWU evaluates universities primarily based on academic research performance. This highlights the objective excellence of Korea University’s School of Electrical Engineering. In particular, the School received a World-Class Faculty score of 27.9, which stands out significantly compared to other Korean universities.
