Four graduate students from the BASIC Lab, led by Professor Hyung-Min Lee of the School of Electrical Engineering at Korea University, have been selected for the 2025 Graduate Student Research Fellowship Program organized by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF).
This program is part of NRF’s initiative to foster the next generation of scholars by supporting the dissertation research of master’s and doctoral students, as well as graduates, who demonstrate creative and challenging research ideas.
The selected students are Hyunjun Park (Ph.D. program), Minkyung Ahn (Integrated M.S./Ph.D. program), Jihwan Choi (Integrated M.S./Ph.D. program), and Seoyoung Lee (Integrated M.S./Ph.D. program). Their research topics are as follows:
- Hyunjun Park: Development of scalable multi-channel PMICs for ultra-low-power OLED display drivers
- Minkyung Ahn: Low-power, low-noise neural recording and signal processing IC design
- Jihwan Choi: High-efficiency PMIC development for mobile computing systems and next-generation IoT
- Seoyoung Lee: Low-noise, high-integration driver IC design for next-generation AR/VR displays
As part of the fellowship, Hyunjun Park will receive a total of 50 million KRW over two years, while Minkyung Ahn, Jihwan Choi, and Seoyoung Lee will each receive 12 million KRW in research funding over the course of one year.
